Prelogue to The Fairies

Prelogue to The Fairies

One morning I saw her...

Untouched by the fear of life, Unaffected by the heavy rhythms,
Unflinching in the face of boredom, She comes from the ethereal realms....

A Fairy of light, floating gently amongst the shadows.
I try to catch her!
but her lithe ephemeral body moves thru the trees like a phantom.

Sitting amidst the meadow flowers,
sparkling and laughing with the Bees,
she paints the air....
